Julia Suazo
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Julia specializes in working with adolescents, LGBTQ+ clients, creatives, and individuals who have often felt misunderstood, pathologized, or emotionally alone. She provides a therapeutic space that is warm, nonjudgmental, curious, and authentic. Her approach is grounded in the belief that our struggles often make sense within the context of our relationships, histories, identities, and the worlds we have had to survive. In her work, she helps clients gently unweave these layers so that what once felt confusing and overwhelming can begin to make sense.

Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with Focus on Trauma Studies and Latino Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and History from Evergreen State College. Her work is strongly influenced by Narrative Therapy.
